GAMA gives you a voice in the legislative policymaking process, and the ability to affect change in Albuquerque and at the State Capitol. GAMA's annual legislative day in February has become one of our most popular events throughout the year.
We meet with the Governor's office, have a luncheon speaker who is familiar with state legislative issues, and attend relevant committee hearings where members can listen and provide valuable feedback to committee members on issues that affect the practice of health care in New Mexico.
